Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman PC was pleased to host the third annual Building Futures program at the Firm on December 19th, where 12 students from Morrisville High School, located in Morrisville, PA came to tour the office and meet with attorneys and staff to learn about the different career opportunities available. The students are members of the “Morrisville Achievers Club” (MAC), an academic club focused on organization, integrity and academics. MAC is comprised of 9th-12th grade students from diverse backgrounds who have been identified as potential leaders in the school community. The students were accompanied by Morrisville English teacher and MAC organizer Kenneth Kelman.
During the visit to the firm, Lane F. Kelman, a Partner in the Construction Group, gave the students a behind-the-scenes tour of the Firm. The group met with founder, Roy S. Cohen and stopped by various departments including the Copy Center, where Facilities Manager, Kenneth Mascaro, gave the class insights into what it takes to support a law office.
Following the tour, the students enjoyed lunch, where various members of the firm including John Greenhall, Partner in the Construction Group, Associate Wendy C. Bennett, a Morrisville alumna, and Kerstin Isaacs, Marketing Director, spoke with the students and answered questions. At the end of the event each student was presented with a “Building Futures” t-shirt and a bag filled with school supplies.
