October 20, 2015
For the fifth year in a row, Cohen Seglias participated in the Lee National Denim Day® by wearing denim to work on October 2nd, 2015. The Firm was pleased to match contributions from attorneys and staff to raise money for cancer research, testing, and education. Since its inception in 1996, the fundraiser created by Lee® Jeans to fight Breast Cancer has raised more than $93 million. These funds support the American Cancer Society® and their breast cancer programs and services.
The American Cancer Society is the largest voluntary health organization in the United States and is passionately committed to finishing the fight against breast cancer and all cancers. Donations help the American Cancer Society save lives by funding groundbreaking breast cancer research; providing free, comprehensive information and support to those touched by breast cancer; and helping people take steps to reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it's most treatable. The Society's efforts have contributed to a 35 percent drop in the breast cancer mortality rate.
