JACKSON S. NICHOLS is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation and Construction Groups of Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman PC and represents clients in every stage of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, pre-trial preparation and trial practice and appeals. As a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation group, Jackson assists clients in developing solutions to business disputes. He also works in the firm’s Internal Investigations Group, where he assists clients in research and scientific misconduct cases and other internal matters at academic institutions. Jackson represents clients in multiple jurisdictions and numerous fora including state and federal court, federal administrative proceedings and alternate dispute resolution.

Prior to joining Cohen Seglias, Jackson practiced commercial litigation at various firms in the metropolitan DC area and clerked for the District of Columbia Superior Court under the Honorable Judge Judith N. Macaluso on the Civil II Trial Calendar. While in law school, he was the Managing Editor of the Duke Journal of Comparative and International Laws.

Jackson has also authored a law review article, “Bill of Attainder: ’Old Wine in New Bottles’” (36 N.C. Cent. L. Rev. 278), for the North Carolina Central Law Review.
