MICHAEL L. SOLOMON is Senior Counsel in the firm’s Harrisburg office. A versatile and experienced practitioner, Mr. Solomon concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, administrative law, creditors’ rights, commercial transactions and corporate finance. He also provides guidance and legal services in business law and estate planning and administration. During his career, Mr. Solomon has appeared before licensing agencies and state proprietary school licensing boards, negotiated complex corporate finance transactions and commercial real estate leases, and served as a solicitor to local government agencies and a statewide association.

Mr. Solomon is advisor to numerous family and non-publicly traded businesses and has a finely-honed sense of their needs. He structures each entity to meet the client’s requirements, negotiates and arranges financing, assists in acquisition or sale of assets, represents in contract disputes and even takes charge of difficult collection matters.

Mr. Solomon is a member of the Pennsylvania and Dauphin County Bar Associations (In-House Counsel Committee, Solo and Small Firm Section). He is the former Chairperson of the Dauphin County Young Lawyers Division, and the former Treasurer, of the Pennsylvania Young Lawyers Division.  Mr. Solomon is presently a member of the Dauphin County Assessment Appeals Board.

Mr. Solomon has served on the Board of Directors (President 1998-99) of The Big 33 Scholarship Foundation, and on the Infrastructure Committee of the Capitol Region Economic Development Corporation. Mr. Solomon is a member of the Cardozo Society of the Jewish Federation of Greater Harrisburg.

Prior to joining Cohen Seglias, Mr. Solomon was Senior Counsel in another central Pennsylvania firm.
