Roy Cohen and Brian Lawton were quoted in Law360.
Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman PC announced on Monday it has grown its Pittsburgh office with the addition of two attorneys with experience providing legal service to landowners and operators in gas and oil development and other construction projects.
The hiring of Brian A. Lawton as partner and James P. McGraw as associate expands the firm’s practice counseling corporate clients, midsize privately held businesses and construction-related companies.
Lawton, who served as a partner for the last seven years at a small firm based near Pittsburgh, is known for his representation of landowners and operators in all facets of oil and gas development, the firm said. McGraw focuses his practice on construction, labor and employment, and commercial litigation.
“The addition of both Brian and Jim in our Pittsburgh office allows us to expand our reach and relevancy in a time of exciting growth in both construction and oil and gas in that area,” Roy Cohen, founder and president of Cohen Seglias, said in a statement. “Brian in particular brings impressive experience in his work with landowners, which can at times be complicated and complex. We’re thrilled to have him join us.”
