Compliance with Stark, the Anti-Kickback Rule and EMTALA; licensure and accreditation standards; HIPAA and HITECH; enrollment in the Medicare, Medicaid and other government programs and compliance with the relevant “Conditions of Participation”; reimbursement appeals including underpayment and overpayment claims and False Claims Act disputes; medical staff matters and fair hearing procedures; patient/resident rights and informed consent; lobbying activities.
All services necessary to address the labor and employment issues confronted by our healthcare clients including: union campaigns and collective bargaining agreements; unfair labor practice charges and grievance/arbitration proceedings; discrimination cases; wage and hour claims; wrongful discharge cases; executive compensation; severance claims; non-compete covenants; Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act compliance; the development of employment manuals; the provision of training programs.
