On May 29, 2013, the Green Building Alliance’s Emerging Professionals will host a lunch and learn during which Lane F. Kelman and Lori Wisniewski Azzara of Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman, PC will present “Legal Implications and Managing Liability on Sustainable Design and Construction Projects.”  This presentation will discuss the unique risks and litigation exposures that arise in the field of green design and construction and will provide guidance on strategies to limit these risks.  Real life examples of actual claims and litigation that has arisen in the context of LEED/green construction.
