Veteran Entrepreneur Training Symposium 2017: Debriefing and Bid Protests

June 14, 2017 - Norfolk, VA

Cohen Seglias Federal Contracting Partner Maria Panichelli will present on WOSBs and SDVOSBs with Tan Wilson of Entellect, LLC at the 2017 Veteran Entrepreneur Training Symposium (VETS 17) in Norfolk, Virginia. VETS is a a Business Development Conference created by Veterans for Veterans with the goal of providing the knowledge and relationships needed for Veterans to transition into Business Owners to service the Federal Government.

Was a contract improperly awarded to someone else? Want to know if there is any way to fight the agency’s decision and get the award after all? Or were you the lucky awardee, but want to know why your proposal won? The key to answering all of these questions is to take full advantage of a debriefing. Ask for a debrief whether you win, or lose, a proposal. A post-award debrief is a “best practice” request that should be part of every proposal process. Come to this session and learn the right questions to ask and what you can’t ask from the Government. Then learn what to do afterwards, as we walk you through the who, what, when, where, why and how of filing a bid protest. We’ll show you how to use debriefings and protests as an affirmative tool to get the contracts you want, and maximize your chance of success in the future.
