Was a contract improperly awarded to someone else? Want to know if there is any way to fight the agency’s decision and get the award after all? Or were you the lucky awardee, but want to know why your proposal won? The key to answering all of these questions is to take full advantage of a debriefing. Ask for a debrief whether you win, or lose, a proposal. A post-award debrief is a “best practice” request that should be part of every proposal process. This session uncovered the right questions to ask and what you can’t ask from the Government. Then explored what to do afterward, as we walked attendees through the who, what, when, where, why and how of filing a bid protest. We’ll showed guests how to use debriefings and protests as an affirmative tool to get the contracts you want and maximize your chance of success in the future.
