Catherine represents a national client base of owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Clients call on her for her guidance relating to public and private construction projects alike, including contract drafting, contract review, payment disputes, mechanics’ liens, injunctions, bid protests, and insurance and bonding issues. Catherine has extensive litigation experience and has secured wins for clients throughout the country in state, federal, and appellate courts, and in various mediation forums.
Catherine also represents clients across many industries in employment disputes. She has successfully handled claims, including state and federal employment discrimination, executive compensation, non-solicitation and non-competition covenants, and tortious interference claims.
In her Title IX practice, Catherine conducts internal investigations into allegations of sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and other acts of misconduct at institutions of higher education.
Catherine is fluent in Vietnamese and is a founding member and the Advisory Board Chair of VietLEAD, a grassroots organization cultivating young leaders in the Delaware Valley through creative youth programming. She is an active member and the Secretary of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania (APABA-PA).
As a frequent speaker, Catherine has presented seminars for national organizations and clients of the firm on Minority- (“MBE”), Women- (“WBE”), and Disabled- (“DSBE”) Owned Business Enterprise, in addition to construction and labor and employment issues. She is also a regular contributor to the firm’s newsletter, Construction in Brief, as well as the firm’s construction blog, Construction Law Now.
