ALISSANDRA D. YOUNG is an Associate in the Federal Contracting Group and primarily focuses her practice on government contracts and litigation. As a member of the Federal Group, she assists the firm’s clients in matters involving federal contracts, bid protests, drafting claims, small business procurement issues, and all stages of litigation.

Alissandra also works in the firm’s Scientific Misconduct and Internal Investigations Groups, where she assists clients in research misconduct cases and other internal matters at academic institutions. As an ATIXA certified Title IX Investigator, she is qualified to aid the firm’s clients in matters involving internal investigations into allegations of sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and other acts of misconduct at institutions of higher education.

Prior to joining Cohen Seglias, Alissandra worked as a Government Contracts Law Clerk for a firm in Washington, DC. She graduated with honors from The George Washington University Law School, where she received the Patricia A. Tobin Government Procurement Law Award for being at the top of her class in government contracts courses. While in law school, Alissandra served as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Law in Domestic Courts journal and was published by Oxford University Press.
