On April 19, Cohen Seglias Partner Maria Panichelli presented a run-down of the recent changes to the laws and regulations governing the SBA and VA small business programs for the California University of Pennsylvania Government Agency Coordination Office – Procurement Technical Assistance Center seminar Small Business Changes to Government Contracting Rules.
On May 31, 2016, the Small Business Administration (SBA) finalized provisions from the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which impacts small businesses interested in working as a government contractor. The NDAA included directives to the SBA to implement changes to multiple rules pertaining to small business set-aside contracts and subcontracting.
