Chris Carusone presented a webinar on September 22, 2015 at 11 AM with Shaun Mailn, PG from HRP Associates, Inc.
The regulatory climate surrounding the Oil and Gas industry in Pennsylvania has shifted markedly since the recent election. This fact is evident with draft regulations proposed by the PADEP which will modify the current O&G spill policy’s reporting and clean-up requirements. A seamless adjustment to changes in the spill policy is required to avoid fines, permit revocations, and in some cases criminal prosecution.
This webinar provided producers and midstream operators (and inherently, their subcontractors) with:
- An overview of industry spill trends
- A synopsis of current O&G spill policy
- A discussion of the impact that proposed regulation will have on spill policy (i.e., Chapter 78a revisions)
- Instruction on the proper management of liability during the enforcement process (i.e., post-release)
