Timothy R. Ryan Named a 2025 NJBIZ Leaders in Law Rising Star
Timothy Ryan has been named a 2025 NJBIZ Leaders in Law Rising Star, an honor awarded to just three attorneys across the state. This recognition highlights legal professionals who have demonstrated exceptional skill, leadership, and impact in their practice—and who are poised to become industry leaders.
Tim’s selection reflects his strong construction litigation practice and his significant contributions to the industry and legal community. Promoted to partner at Cohen Seglias in 2024, he has played a key role in shaping New Jersey’s infrastructure by representing industry associations and contractors in high-stakes litigation. Tim has built a reputation as a trusted advocate and leader, frequently sitting first chair on litigation matters and mentoring law students through the firm’s summer associate program. Beyond his client work, Tim is actively engaged in key industry organizations, including the General Contractors Association of New York (GCA of NY), the New Jersey Professional Engineers in Construction (NJPEC), the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Construction Law Section, the NJ Alliance for Action, and Utility & Transportation Contractors Association (UTCA)’s Golf Committee.
The NJBIZ Leaders in Law awards follow a highly selective process. Honorees are nominated by peers and evaluated by an independent panel of judges—many of whom are past award winners—who assess candidates based on professional accomplishments, achievements, community involvement, impact, leadership, and vision.
Tim and his fellow honorees will be celebrated at the 2025 NJBIZ Leaders in Law Awards on March 25 at The Marigold in Somerset.
