The presentation, titled “Ethics in Action: Applying the 2026 AAMFT Code to Technology, Law, Culture & Advocacy in NJ Practice,” will take place on May 1, 2026. Carolyn will be presenting with Lauren Grossbach, LMFT and Jaime L. Gilmore, LMFT.
The practice landscape for Marriage and Family Therapists in New Jersey is rapidly evolving. From AI-assisted documentation and telehealth platforms to changes in NJ custody law and emerging legislative proposals, today’s clinicians must navigate complex ethical terrain.
This interactive 5-CEU training is organized around the 2026 update to the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy Code of Ethics. Participants will examine ethical responsibilities related to client welfare, confidentiality, professional competence, legal compliance, cultural humility, systemic responsibility and professional advocacy.
