Cohen Seglias Partner Wayne Buckwalter Named Five Star Financial Services Professional

Cohen Seglias is pleased to announce that Wayne Buckwalter, Chair of the Firm’s Wealth Preservation Group, has once again been named a Five Star Financial Services Professional.
The Five Star Financial Services Professional and Wealth Manager program is the largest and most widely published wealth manager award program in North America. The award is based on a rigorous, multifaceted research methodology, which incorporates input from peers and firm leaders along with client retention rates, industry experience and a thorough regulatory history review. No more than 7 percent of the considered candidates in a market receive the Five Star award. Wayne was one of only 8 Estate Planning attorneys in the Philadelphia area who received the award this year.

Five Star Professional partnered with Philadelphia Magazine to recognize the selected group of wealth managers in the Philadelphia area. Wayne Buckwalter, along with other award winners were featured in the December issue of the magazine.

His practice includes the creation of revocable trusts, life insurance trusts, wills, charitable trusts and gifts, private annuity plans, qualified residence trusts and family limited partnerships. Wayne’s expertise also includes the structuring of asset ownership, life insurance and retirement plans to creatively achieve optimal income and estate tax savings, which frequently involve restructuring existing business entities, the creation of new business entities, employee retention plans and real estate issues.
