Cody focuses her practice on construction litigation and represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors and other participants in the construction industry in a wide range of areas. When disputes arise, she handles matters throughout the lifecycle of a case, from evaluating claims and developing litigation strategy through discovery, motion practice, negotiation, mediation, arbitration and trial.
Cody advises clients on matters involving contract interpretation; payment and performance issues; change orders; delays and disruptions; acceleration, differing site conditions; lien and bond claims; and other project-related claims and defenses. She works closely with clients to analyze complicated factual and contractual issues, evaluate risk and develop practical strategies and positions designed to protect their interests and advance their business objectives.
A strong writer and analytical advocate, Cody brings sound judgment and precision to construction matters. She excels at navigating complex factual and legal scenarios, identifying the issues most critical to a client’s position, and translating that analysis into clear, persuasive advocacy.
Cody’s background includes serving as a Research Editor and Staff Editor of the Temple Law Review, where she received the J. Howard Reber Memorial Award and Editor of the Year Award for outstanding editing. She also served as a federal judicial clerkship honors intern for the Hon. Cynthia M.
