A battle-tested litigator and Senior Counsel at the firm, Ben represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial disputes. When faced with difficult and pressing challenges, clients come to Ben for guidance. Ben works tirelessly to help them find the path forward, navigate it with precision, and overcome any obstacles along the way.
While Ben’s practice is multi-faceted, he spends the majority of his time litigating and resolving contract disputes. This work spans many specialized fields, including retrospective premium and deductible recovery, commercial lease litigation, product liability litigation, and managing general agent profit allocation. He also has an extensive background defending businesses against large-loss property damage and catastrophic injury claims. But no matter the context, Ben’s tenacious, practical, and effective advocacy leads to results both in the courtroom and at the settlement table.
Ben is deeply familiar with the inner workings of the court system. He clerked for the Honorable Richard S. Hoffman (Ret.) of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division and has worked for two judges in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, both of whom had tenures as Chief Judge of the district.
At Rutgers Law School, Ben was named Champion and Best Orator of the Honorable James Hunter III Moot Court Competition, presented with multiple Best Brief awards for his legal writing acumen, and appointed Lead Articles Editor for the school’s flagship law review.
