Lisa is a family law attorney who advocates for clients navigating sensitive and often complex family matters. She focuses her practice on representing survivors of domestic violence and handling all aspects of custody, visitation and child support disputes. Known for her compassionate yet strategic approach, Lisa guides clients through emotionally charged proceedings with care and clarity, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected.
Her previous experience as director of pro bono programs for a non-profit serving low-income survivors of domestic violence makes her an invaluable member of our team. She has represented domestic violence victims in FRO and FPO hearings and related custody, visitation, and child support matters mentor volunteer attorneys in domestic violence and related family law matters. Lisa implemented and managed a client Financial Empowerment Program and Legal Professional Volunteer Program. Before becoming director of Pro Bono programs, she was a staff attorney and senior staff attorney at that organization.
Additionally, Lisa practiced at a law firm in New Jersey, where she handled a broad general practice with a primary focus on family and matrimonial law. In that role, she negotiated and mediated complex matters and prepared and argued motions involving custody, parenting time, alimony, child support and equitable distribution. Her experience also included drafting agreements, preparing appellate briefs and arguing appeals, as well as representing clients in civil litigation, wills, trusts and estates and residential real estate matters.
Lisa also has also provided private instruction on public speaking skills.
