Michael advises architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors and owners in complex civil disputes. He litigates actions involving negligence claims in catastrophic failures, delays, nonpayment and breach of contract and is experienced in using arbitration, mediation and negotiation to resolve such matters. Michael represents clients at document inspections, depositions and court conferences, advocating for their interests at all stages.
Michael researches complicated legal questions and drafts pleadings, discovery demands and responses, settlement agreements, subpoenas, appellate briefs and removal documents. He also pens litigation proposals and motions, including those for summary judgment, compelling arbitration, in limine, and sanctions.
Before entering private practice, Michael served as a law clerk for the Hon. Mary C. Jacobson (ret.), Assignment Judge for the New Jersey Superior Court. He also was a legal extern for the New Jersey Attorney General’s Securities Fraud Prosecution section.
