Sydney represents clients in various construction matters, including payment disputes, mechanics’ lien and bond claims, and delay and inefficiency claims, for projects in numerous states. She advocates for clients in all stages of litigation and in alternative dispute resolution settings, assisting with research and the preparation of motions, briefs, and other submissions.
Sydney is co-editor-in-chief of the firm’s publication, Construction in Brief. During law school, she was a lead research editor of the Temple Law Review and a judicial intern for The Honorable Petrese B. Tucker of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She also completed an internship with Community Legal Services of Philadelphia, focusing on consumer protection efforts related to property tax foreclosure.
Prior to joining Cohen Seglias and attending law school, Sydney was an editorial assistant at HarperCollins Publishers.
