New Jersey Psychological Association: What Mental Healthcare Providers Should Know About Domestic Violence Law in NJ

Lisa Roskos will present a continuing education program for the New Jersey Psychological Association (NJPA) focused on helping mental healthcare professionals understand the legal issues surrounding domestic violence in New Jersey. During the four-credit program, Lisa will provide an overview of the state’s domestic violence laws, available legal protections, court processes and procedures and the interplay between the criminal and civil court systems. The program is designed to equip providers with practical knowledge to better support and advocate for individuals affected by domestic violence.
