On November 29, Cohen Seglias hosted an event benefiting Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank at Bar Marco’s Union Hall in Pittsburgh, PA. The event was part of our commemoration of the firm’s 30th anniversary and the Pittsburgh office’s 15th anniversary. We donated $5,000 to Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank in support of its mission to increase access to nutritious food and fostering long-term stability for neighbors in need.
“The greater Pittsburgh area is home to many of us at Cohen Seglias, and we firmly believe that we can all play a role in solving the problem of hunger in our local communities,” said Lisa Wampler, Managing Partner of the firm’s Pittsburgh office.
“Each year, our Community Food Bank distributes 33 million meals to families and children in need, across 11 counties in Pennsylvania,” said Kate Laubacher, Community Fundraiser Coordinator with Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, “and we appreciate financial donations and thank everyone at Cohen Seglias for their generosity and commitment to hunger relief.”
Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank
The Food Bank works to eliminate hunger in southwestern Pennsylvania. It sources healthy food, stores it in its warehouse, and distributes it to its network of partner agencies that provide the food to neighbors in need. Through innovative community-based programs, the Food Bank also directly distributes produce and essential food to families, students, seniors, and others in need.
