Cohen Seglias Will Move Pittsburgh Office to Hill District
By: Jack Rodgers
Christopher Carusone and Steven Williams spoke with Law360 Pulse on the firm’s newly constructed Pittsburgh office in the FNB Financial Center in Pittsburgh’s Hill District. The Buccini Pollin Group, lead developers on the project, are long-term clients of Cohen Seglias, which in part got the firm involved in the project and, eventually, the leasing of new space. Chris expresses, “It’s a natural fit for us, for two reasons,” Carusone said, “One being our partnership with the developer, but then, also, you know, we’ve been in this market for 20 years. This is an opportunity to really invest in Pittsburgh’s future and in the development of the Hill District.”
Steven Williams said in a statement that Cohen Seglias was “excited” to move to FNB Financial Center and to continue growing in the Pittsburgh region. He states, “Our firm supports the communities in the cities in which we have offices, and we lead from the philosophy that strong foundations are built on integrity, decency, and hard work — qualities we bring to every deal we close, every dispute we resolve, every case we try, and every interaction we have with clients, colleagues, co-counsel, and opposing counsel.”
Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman PC will officially move in on Oct. 1 and will occupy the 19th floor of the new 26-story building. It’s the third company and first law firm to signal it will lease space in the building, alongside anchor tenant FNB Corp., parent of First National Bank, and G.H. Advertising.
