Lisa M. Wampler Recognized on City & State Pennsylvania’s 40 in Their Forties List
Cohen Seglias is proud to announce that Lisa Wampler has been named to City & State Pennsylvania’s 40 in Their Forties list. This recognition highlights Lisa’s leadership, commitment to excellence and significant contributions to both the legal profession and the construction industry.
At 48, Lisa has been an attorney for nearly half her life, dedicating 21 years of her career to Cohen Seglias’ Pittsburgh office. As co-chair of the firm’s Construction Contracts & Risk Management Group, she plays a crucial role in resolving disputes for clients, with her projects ranging from $50,000 to $50 million. Currently, she is handling a $20 million dispute involving a wastewater treatment facility. Lisa excels in helping clients avoid litigation through skillful negotiation and precise contract drafting.
Lisa’s journey in the legal field began long before her professional career. From her early aspirations in middle school to majoring in English and minoring in Women’s Studies at Penn State, she has always had a passion for words and advocacy. She became the first female managing partner of Cohen Seglias’ Pittsburgh office, served as the longtime chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative, and continues to champion the advancement of women in both the legal and construction sectors.
