Cohen Seglias is proud to announce that four partners, Julie Grohovsky, Michael Payne, Bob Ruggieri and Steve Williams, have been selected to serve on editorial advisory boards for Law360. The advisory boards, focused on a variety of practices and industries, provide feedback on the publication’s coverage and expert insight on how best to shape future content.
Julie Grohovsky will be a member of the Access to Justice Board, which covers issues such as criminal justice reform, juvenile sentencing, judicial system challenges and public defense. Julie chairs the firm’s Crime Victims’ Rights Group and uses her experience as a federal prosecutor to advise and advocate for victims throughout the judicial process.
Michael Payne and Bob Ruggieri will join the Government Contracts Board. Government Contracts includes coverage of government bids and protests, changes to regulations, false claims actions and other legal developments affecting those doing business with the government. Michael previously served as the Chief Trial Attorney for the North Atlantic Division of the Army Corps of Engineers and now chairs the firm’s Government Contracting Group. Bob advises clients on federal regulations and responding to government investigations, suspensions and debarment proceedings.
Steve Williams will advise Law360’s Real Estate Board, which covers land use, oil and gas disputes, purchases and sales, mergers, and notable industry litigation. Steve helps clients resolve real estate disputes, including landlord and tenant matters, fair housing issues, sale-purchase issues, and licensing matters.
