Strong Economy Drove Pa. Powerhouses Large And Small
By: Matthew Santoni
Ed Seglias spoke to Law360 about the state of the construction industry and litigation in Pennsylvania. Cohen Seglias is one of four law firms recognized as a 2022 Regional Powerhouse for Pennsylvania. Ed observed that, “If litigation was an industry, it’s still going strong,” he said. “There’s plenty of work. We’re not getting less litigious; we’re not getting less regulatory. The pressure is ever upward.”
Bolstered by cost savings from virtual court and revenues from a strong economy, the four firms tapped as Law360’s Pennsylvania Powerhouses for 2022 are diverse in size and subject matter, but unified in their commitment to the Keystone State and its mature legal market.
All of the Pennsylvania firms Law360 chose for its Regional Powerhouse series — Blank Rome LLP, Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman, Cozen O’Connor and Kleinbard LLC — call Philadelphia home and have done so for decades. They’ve also built a steady record of wins in the state over the past year.
