Jennifer Budd presented a seminar, “Contract Changes: Value Engineering, Change Orders“, for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) event, Presenting and Defending Construction Law Cases, on November 12th in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
The CLE discussed some of the most litigated construction clauses and insurance issues faced in construction litigation. The CLE featured topics such as design-bid-build issues, contract changes, default and termination clauses, exculpatory provisions, indemnification and insurance matters and issues specific to community associations. Jennifer Budd discussed Contract Changes and Value Engineering, with a focus on the NJDOT Standard Specifications. This program was invaluable to all construction lawyers and general practitioners seeking to hone their construction contract drafting, negotiating and litigation skills.
