Cohen Seglias Sets Sights on Geographic Expansion Upon Leadership Transition
By: Justin Henry
Philadelphia-based construction litigation firm Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman is installing a second generation of leaders at a time when the firm has ambitious plans for adding new practice groups and geographic markets.
Via an equity partnership vote earlier this year, the firm created dual CEO roles for longtime name partners Ed Seglias and George Pallas, the latter of whom will conclude his second three-year term as managing partner this December. The two have been dividing the duties as co-CEOs since July.
The equity partners selected Harrisburg office managing partner Steve Williams, who was named the firm’s first administrative partner in 2020, to succeed Pallas, effective Jan. 1, 2023. Occupying Williams’ former role overseeing administrative functions of the firm on that same date will be partner Evan Blaker.
