Elizabeth represents private and public employers in employment disputes, including claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. She regularly appears before Pennsylvania and New Jersey state and federal courts, as well as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission.
Elizabeth has extensive experience advising clients on employment laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Sections 1981 and 1983, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA). Beyond litigation, she counsels employers on compliance with workplace policies, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and ADA requirements, helping them navigate complex employment regulations and mitigate risk.
Elizabeth also served as an Assistant City Solicitor for the Philadelphia Law Department’s Labor & Employment Unit, where she defended the City of Philadelphia and its agencies in employment matters before federal, state, and administrative bodies, including the EEOC and National Labor Relations Board. She worked closely with department heads and union representatives to resolve claims and grievances. Additionally, she handled cases involving property maintenance, fire, and zoning code violations in Philadelphia.
