Lauren represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law and is a key member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Group. Trusted by senior attorneys and relied upon by clients, she provides practical guidance on day-to-day workplace issues and helps companies navigate sensitive personnel decisions. Lauren counsels employers on Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations and disciplinary actions and reviews and drafts policies, handbooks and employment-related agreements. This experience has made her a go-to resource for clients, colleagues, industry groups and trade associations, regularly providing trainings on discrimination and harassment prevention and employee policies designed to reduce risk and prevent future issues.
Lauren also has a robust litigation practice, representing employers in matters involving trade secrets, restrictive covenant agreements and employment-related disputes such as discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. She handles all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and complex settlement negotiations, and has first-chair trial experience. She also advises employers in Department of Labor (DOL) audits, collective bargaining negotiations and other traditional labor matters.
