CDC Eviction Moratorium Extended Until July 31, 2021
By: Steven M. Williams and Alexander F. Barth
On June 24, 2021, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) issued an order extending the eviction moratorium until July 31, 2021. The June 24th order incorporates the original moratorium order and all subsequent extensions and modifications. While not set forth in its order, the CDC has indicated that this will be the final extension of the eviction moratorium.
We will continue to monitor the federal government’s actions regarding the CDC eviction moratorium and provide updated information when available.
