Marian A. Kornilowicz, Chair of the Business Practice Group at Cohen Seglias, has been awarded the 2013 Preservation Alliance Rhoda and Permar Richards Award, for his dedicated service to the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia. The Richards Award is chosen by a group comprised of various preservation leaders, including current and past Preservation Alliance board members. The Award, which was first given out in 1999, is bestowed on a variety of people who have gone above and beyond in their service to the Alliance.
Marian currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia, and has been involved in the organization for about 10 years. (He was also Chair between 2005 and 2008.) The award will be presented at the 20th Annual Preservation Achievement Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia.
The Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia actively promotes the appreciation, protection and revitalization of the Philadelphia region’s historic buildings, communities and landscapes. A 501c3 nonprofit membership organization, the Alliance leads in setting the agenda for preservation issues of regional importance and advocates strong public preservation policies.
