For our contractor clients, this often includes advising on matters of regulatory compliance. Contractors in business with the government must comply with a staggering number of complicated rules and regulations covering almost every aspect of a business, from labor to accounting to executive reporting requirements. Our Government Contracting team is familiar with all of these regulations, and we work with our clients to help them avoid unnecessary and expensive compliance disputes and penalties. Clients turn to us for counsel regarding compliance with the FAR (and Agency Supplements), SBA/VA Small Business Regulations, the False Claims Act, the Buy American Act, and many others. We also help clients develop training and ethics plans to educate employees on applicable laws and ensure company-wide compliance.
