Documentation – Differing Site Conditions Differing Site Conditions
It is very important to document your encounter with differing site conditions not only by letters and daily reports, but also by photographs and, if appropriate, videotape. In addition, you should preserve samples of the physical evidence (rock samples, etc.). It is also important to obtain laboratory analysis (i.e. unconfined compression tests, etc.) and reports, and to have your expert visit the site while the condition is being encountered.
