Additional Mobilization and Demobilization
The cost of extra demobilizations and remobilizations resulting from Government-caused delay are recoverable. In Marlin Associates, Inc., GSBCA No. 5663, 82-1 BCA 15,739 (1982), the Board held that the contractor was entitled to be compensated for the cost of an extra mobilization and demobilization, including overhead and profit. The Board noted that the contractor’s price included only a first mobilization and final demobilization. Therefore, contractors are entitled to recover for the extra demobilization and remobilization.
