Instructions to Bidders
The solicitation package contains instructions on how contractors are to prepare their bids, entitled “Instructions To Bidders.” These instructions, in Section L of the Uniform Contract Format, should be carefully read for each solicitation as the agencies may add or delete items from the instructions to fit the particular project. Typically, these guidelines include the date, place and time of bid opening, late bid provisions, protest provisions, pre-bid site visit information, and any instructions on the preparation of the bid. These instructions should be thoroughly reviewed prior to preparing and submitting the bid in order to ensure a proper submission and compliance with all relevant terms and conditions.
